In Finland, Extended Producer Responsibility in the area of packaging has been in place for some time. From 2024, the de minimis threshold of one million euros in sales is to be dropped, which will increase the number of obligated companies. Imports that are sold to Finland at a distance, i.e. also via online stores, are reported there as imports.
